During a cold, sunny day in February, we walked into this place with no reservations, but were welcomed inside. The main reason we chose this place is that there were several fish dishes to choose from. It was a bonus to find it with an ocean view! The food was prepared by a chef with talent. In 2 visits to the restaurant, 3 out of 4 meals we ordered included fish, the 4th was a delicious pork loin. The haddock, hake, sea bass, and mussels, and pork loin, were all presented in an appealing way, prepared perfectly, and the flavor encouraged us to come back again. The service was friendly but professional, quick, and thorough. We loved looking out the window as we drank our wine, escalating an even better mood! Thank you for creating an atmosphere for a great day!

We had an excellent time at The Seahorse today. The food was great - we went for the vegetarian options (tempura cauliflower starter and stuffed aubergine main course), and were pleasantly surprised and pleased with the quality due to some of the other reviews on here claiming the food to be sub-par. This is far from the case based on our visit, and well worth trying out for the food alone, as well as the wonderful views. Staff are very friendly, service was quick, and the setting is second to none. The prices were very reasonable as part of the lunch set menu, which is always appreciated. Having been here for drinks a few times over the last year, it was nice to finally get a chance to try the food - it won’t be the last time either! Thank you.

Great restaurant and enjoyed the views and atmosphere of the dinning area. Views were outstanding looking down Brighton Beach. The dinning area was was comfortable and had booths and table and chair seating The food choice was excellent but please note it’s seafood based as being on the beach. Quality and choice of meals was excellent and we enjoyed our three course meal. Would highly recommend this restaurant but it will be a bit more expensive due to its location Will definitely be back at some stage in the future

I've worked at The Seahorse a number of times now as a wedding photographer. It's one of my absolutely favourite venues. I mean, how could you beat the location? There are a few ceremony options available nearby including the bandstand, and Brighton registry office.The reception area with that stunning view is of course the centrepiece, and it's beautiful. Amazing beach access, a very lively location with passers by wishing the bride and groom well. Lots of fun photo opportunities. Very photogenic. The staff are also very friendly. First visit in a long time. Change of ownership & the place looks fabulous. Its light clean fresh and modern with superb views overlooking the sea. Food selection was satisfactory. Disabled access via ramp and spacious area for wheelchairs and prams. Brighton parking is challenging so you may not get a spot outside . Worth the visit with lovely staff.

Great restaurant. The staff was super kind and lovely and the food was awesome. We had to wait quite a bit, but it was well worth it! The portions are pretty big aswell. I had the Battered Haddock for 18,50. I definitely recommend this one!
